About TradeNet

TradeNet is an independent publication about agricultural trade in West Africa. It explains how prices form between the farm gate and the city market, how crops are graded and stored, and what small exporters need to know about borders, certificates, contracts and payment.
What we publish
Practical guides written for farmers, traders, processors and first-time exporters. Every guide names the official bodies and sources behind its facts and links to the pages we checked. Where a fee, price or procedure can change, the guide says so and points to the body that sets it.
TradeNet does not buy, sell or broker produce, does not run a commodity exchange and does not give legal, financial or investment advice.
The data archive
Between the mid-2000s and the early 2010s this domain hosted a market information platform that collected prices, trade offers and market news across West Africa. Its public pages are kept in the data archive as historical records. Personal contact details of platform members are not republished.
Name and independence
