make sure that you have been setup by your country or group host to upload library items.


go to your personal menu and from the drop down select 'upload'. (this may also be on your left hand menu after you've logged in).
Select 'upload > library'.





fill out the library item details
Assign the item to a category. This will help organize your files on your site and allow users to browse categories of items (country hosts can edit/add categories). The headline is what users will see everywhere – make it explicit and enticing. The short description only allows 200 characters and is used for display on the front page of a site, or on search results. Make it brief, clear and inviting. The link is a link to the document somewhere else on the web if you are not uploading it from your PC to tradenet (remember these may be moved or removed over time). Don’t enter ‘http://’, just start with www…) The author is the author of the document – sometimes credit is required by copyright law.  File: this is where you must enter the location of the file on your local PC or network. Just click ‘browse’ and navigate to where the file is. Text: this is where you describe in detail what the library item is. Copy paste as much as you want here. Consider taking the introduction or first paragraph from the file itself and placing it here. This will show when users click on the library listing and go to a full page about it.  You can even enter some HTML markup language to format the story (
=l ine break; =bold; =italic)







attach the file
next to 'file' just click 'browse'. This will bring up a dialog box to help you navigate on your PC to find the file you want to upload. Just browse to where the file is, select it in the window, then click 'open'.









select the markets
you also need to assign this library item to the markets in your country so that it can show up when users visit market pages. Just select ‘all markets’ if you want it everywhere in your country, or check those markets where this file applies. If you don’t check any or all markets, it will appear on the homepage of your country and the library page, but will not appear under any markets.

select the commodities
to assign this library item to specific commodities, please select the commodity group or commodity family that this applies to. If you do NOT select any commodites, it will appear on your country site, but not on any commodity pages.






review and publish!
Click on ‘upload’ to review your posting. If you have any changes, just hit the 'edit' button. To publish the story, click 'upload'.
