•  Abattoirs in massive trade due to increased demand for livestock products
UGANDA - Kampala’s biggest abattoir was relatively busy this week following the upcoming holiday season. This started impacting heavily on prices and stock over the week.
Livestock prices were at UShs 36000 [politique agricole; 16 Dec '07]
•  Hot weather in Kampala, maize dumped at Kisenyi.
UGANDA - The market recorded hot and dry weather though it registered minor price changes this week. Supply was good for the majority of the commodities but the demand was somewhat less.
