The elaboration process of a common seed regulatory framework for West Africa is a long and participatory process which calls upon the involvement of all stakeholders. You will kindly find attached for your information, the different steps that have been undergone in the process from the beginning up to the present. Despite some inconveniences observed in the conduct of the process, it comes out that more and more stakeholders are committing themselves to the organization of the process activities all stakeholders are now eager to see the adoption of the validated legal and regulatory instruments by the competent services of ECOWAS and UEMOA.
