Rice

Rice is the world’s third largest grain crop after maize and wheat. are used in construction materials, as feed and fuel, and in cosmetics and synthetic vitamins. Annual world production of rice totalled 395 million tons in 2003. Western and Eastern Asia produce over 90% of this harvest. International trade makes up less than 10% of overall production.
